My passion is to help my patients live pain free in their daily lives or sport.

Every treatment plan is unique for each of my patients, utilising hands-on techniques such as remedial massage, chiropractic adjustments, and joint mobilisation.

These treatments are complemented by tailored rehabilitative exercises designed to relax overworked muscles while strengthening weaker ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during a Chiropractor appointment?

What is included in your chiropractic appointment will vary depending on the nature and severity of your injury, as well as what type of appointment you booked. However, every appointment with your Chiropractor will include a full body assessment. The chiro will assess your spine and nervous system, provide hands-on treatment of your injury, and give you a chiropractic adjustment.

We don’t stop here though. We will provide a full program of corrective exercises and stretches for the following days, weeks, and months – all dependent on the severity of your condition, and the chiropractor’s examination and diagnosis.

Every patient requires different personalised treatment (that our Chatswood chiros are delighted to provide). Some people seek care for neck pain, some are dealing with chronic back pain, for others it’s lower back pain or a variety of musculoskeletal issues. While our initial goal is to always provide temporary relief after injuries (and to relieve pain altogether) – we also want to ensure your chiropractic care addresses the underlying cause of pain, to improve your overall health and wellbeing.

How long are chiropractic appointments?

We offer the following appointments to suit your condition and budget:

  1. New Patient Exclusive | Initial Consultation, Examination & Diagnosis | $55

  2. Follow up | Adjustments only | 15 minutes

  3. Follow up | Massage & Adjustments | 30 minutes

  4. Follow up | Massage & Adjustments | 45 minutes – Extended session for multiple injuries or complex conditions.

Will chiropractic treatment be painful?

Not at all — our chiropractors focus on minimising discomfort during treatment sessions, using gentle pressure and techniques based on your specific needs. It’s very common for people to find chiropractic adjustments comfortable - even relaxing. During your sessions, you may occasionally hear a popping sound, but this is normal and shouldn’t hurt.

In rare cases, individuals may experience mild soreness after a long session, with the sensation not dissimilar to soreness after a workout. This soreness will subside and will not get in the way of daily activities.

Can I continue with my regular exercise routine while undergoing chiropractic treatment?

This will depend on the level of injury or chiropractic adjustment you need — minor conditions will generally not affect the ability to carry on with your exercise routines. However, if you have sustained a major injury, it will be recommended to put your regular exercise activity on hold, or at least reduce it to a level that will not exacerbate things.

Our chiropractors will provide you with advice that is specific to your condition or injury.

Do you accept workers' compensation claims?

Yes, our chiropractic services in Chatswood can be claimed under the NSW workers compensation scheme. In general, if you have sustained a physical injury in the line of work or due to a workplace accident, it will usually be covered under WorkCover.

How many sessions will I need with a Chiropractor?

How many sessions required will come down to the severity of your concerns and the treatment plan put together by your Infinite Health Chatswood Chiropractor. Whether you're suffering from chronic pain, shoulder pain, or back pain, or if you require soft tissue work, need posture correction, or a spinal adjustment - we will ensure that your treatment embodies a holistic approach.

Based on your initial consultation and how your injury progresses, your treatment plan will detail the frequency of sessions recommended and any tips for self-management at home.

Do I need a referral to see a Chiropractor in Chatswood?

No - you do not need a referral to get an appointment with a chiropractor in Chatswood, because they are Primary Health Practitioners (just like a GP or physiotherapist). So, if you are struggling with pain or injury, there’s no need to waste any time - simply get in touch with our chiropractic care team, and we can get straight to it.

However, if you have already been to see a GP, physio, or any other health professional related to your injury – we encourage you to bring along any information (such as X-rays) that will be relevant to your chiropractor.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the chiropractic appointment?

If you have had a previous appointment with your GP or specialist - please remember to bring any relevant notes or X-rays. For private health fund members, you will also need to bring your card so that you can make a claim.

We suggest wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so that our chiropractors can properly assess your injury, evaluate possible problem areas, provide manual therapy, or get you stretching and moving. If you are a runner, walker, or you play sports, it is a good idea to wear the footwear that you typically wear when exercising.

Can you help me to manage symptoms between appointments?

Certainly – depending on your treatment plan, our Chiropractors may suggest some exercises to relieve the pain and guidance on things that you should avoid (slouching, poor posture etc.). We also put together treatment plans with treatment modalities to ensure each of our patients is enjoying an active lifestyle, has a strong immune system, and overall good health. All of these lifestyle changes are contributing factors when attempting to reduce pain.

Just like anything, you get out what you put in. Our patients that attend regular appointments and complete the recommended exercises see better, longer-lasting results than those that visit us for a once-off appointment and do not implement Chiropractic recommendations.

What are the benefits of a chiropractic adjustment?
