If you’ve already had a previous appointment with another medical professional about your pain or injury, we recommend bringing essential information or relevant X-rays to assist our physios in developing your treatment plan.

What should I prepare before attending a physio session?

To ensure that you get the most out of your physio sessions with us, we recommend:

  • Bringing along relevant medical information or records that may provide more context for our physios when determining the right treatment for you.

  • Wearing loose-fitting and comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict your movement or cause discomfort to the affected area.

  • Staying hydrated and getting sufficient rest the day before to help your body remain in optimal condition for the session.

.

How long will a physiotherapist session take?

The exact session duration for your physiotherapy session will depend on the nature and severity of your issue.

Our sessions generally range from 30 min, 45 min, and 1 hour sessions — our physios will inform you ahead of time how long sessions will take and what type of treatment will be involved during the session.

Can I get a rebate from Medicare?

To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, you’ll need a referral from your GP for an Enhanced Primary Care plan. This entitles you to 5 physiotherapy sessions per year at a discounted rate, with a gap payment required.
