Full Body Stretches

G’Day Infinite Healthers!! 👋

Today’s post showcases 3 stretches which loosely follow the lines of 3 functional myofascial slings.

By the end of these 3 stretches, you should’ve attended to most of the major muscles in the body!

🎥 The myofascial slings which these stretches loosely follow are:

1️⃣ Anterior oblique sling: Runs diagonal across the front side of the body, connecting the groin/adductors muscles with the opposite, pec and external oblique abdominal muscles.

2️⃣ Posterior oblique sling: Runs diagonal across the back side of the body, connecting the across the glute/thigh muscles with the opposite latissimus dorsi muscle.

3️⃣ Ipsilateral oblique sling: Runs down one side of the body connecting the sartorius muscle to the external obliques and latissimus dorsi on the same side.

Try something different! These stretches are quite unique and can offer you relief in ways which other stretches may not. They are a great way to get the body moving and explore your movement restriction.
