NECK

SHOULDER
There is more movement at the shoulder joint than at any other joint in the body. ELBOW
Elbow pain can be caused by local muscle, tendon or joint injury. Pain can also be referred from the neck similar to sciatica in the lower limbs. BACK
Approximately 80% of people will experience lower back pain at some point in their life. It is one of the most common musculoskeletal problems in our modern day community with a considerable number of people living with pain on a day to day basis. Lower back pain is usually attributed to a number of musculoskeletal issues and is treatable by your physiotherapist.
HIP
Your hip is the joint where your thigh bone meets your pelvis. The hip joint is a ball and socket joint which is very stable and when they are healthy, it takes a great amount of force to hurt them. Most hip injuries are a result of repetitive overuse with poor technique in activities involving i.e. running, jumping and squats.
KNEE
Most knee injuries can be categorised into acute or overuse injuries. Acute injuries result from a sudden trauma such as an awkward fall, collision or twist of the knee joint. Overuse injuries result from continuous activity or sudden overload such as running, cycling, weight training or bushwalking. These start gradually and progressively worsen.
ANKLE & FOOT
Ankle and foot injuries are extremely common. The most common ankle injury is a sprained ankle, which usually happens as a result of a sports injury. Some other frequently seen ankle and foot injuries are achilles tendinopathy and plantar fascitis.
OSTEOPOROSIS
